Write a number to represent the depth of the Marianas Trench, the deepest part of the Pacific Ocean. It is about 36,200 feet below sea level. 4. Next to a bowler's name on TV is the number -8. Is the bowler ahead or behind?
Convert to a decimal & round negative numbers. 5. The elevation of some parts of New Orleans are 2	  feet below see level. 	a.	Write this number to show that the elevation is below sea level. 	b.	Write this number as a decimal. 	c.	Round this number to the nearest foot. 6. The price of a share of stock went down 1 	dollars. 	a.	How will this be written on the stock market pages of a newspaper? 	b.	Write the answer to part a as a decimal. 	c.	Round the answer to part b to the nearest penny.
